

Karen Yan is a Los Angeles based Fashion, Costume, and Live Event Illustrator with a background in Womenswear from Parsons Paris, and Menswear (BA Hons) from Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London. ​She began her career in fashion design and evolved into costume design and costume illustration for film, television, and commercials.
Having lived in Hong Kong, Paris, London, New York, and now Los Angeles, Karen carries the pulse of these vibrant cities in her. With a fascination in “capturing the moment”, Karen ventures into live event illustration and has covered several live fashion shows as well as charity events and VIP experiences at luxury boutiques.
From the latest fashion to story characters, fabulous guests, and any illustration ideas, her goal is to bring her passion and creativity to each and every project she works on. ​​​
